I am the new practice manager for The Resilience Centre’.

The Reception Team
We work Monday to Friday 8.30am – 6.30pm and Saturday 8.30am – 3pm. We will answer when you call us on the phone or call you back if you leave a message and greet you upon arrival at The Resilience Centre.

We endeavor to:

  • Assist you with the process of making an appointment with one of our Psychologists
  • Explain to you our prices and how referrals and Mental Health Care Plans from your doctor work as well as your ability to make a claim through Medicare or your private health insurer
  • Tell you how to find our rooms and the best place to park when attending The Resilience Centre for an appointment
  • Process your payment and your Medicare or private health insurance claim if applicable
  • Take the time to assist you to book future appointments with your Psychologist

Finding Us
The Resilience Centre is located at level 4/51 Rawson Street Epping.

Our building is next to the Coles public car park in Rawson Street which has 2 hour free parking. We are a short walk from Epping train station. When leaving the ticket barrier at the station turn left and walk across the foot bridge to the lift or stairs that take you down to Epping Road. When you exit the lift or stairs walk approximately 15 meters to the Epping Arcade. Walk through the arcade to Rawson Street, cross over at the zebra crossing and you will see our Building (slightly set back from the road). Come up to level 4 in the elevator.

If you come on a Saturday or after 6pm the main building doors may be locked. Turn back toward the road and a few paces toward the road there is a pillar with an intercom system. Press the buzzer and one of our reception staff will speak with you and let you into the building. You can then come up to level 4 in the elevator.

Fees
The Resilience Centre is a private Psychology practice that has a number of Clinical Psychologists, Registered Psychologist and Social Workers. Our practitioners are registered with Medicare and/or Hicaps (private health insurance).

Clients with a valid Medicare card who visit us with an appropriately dated referral and a Mental Health Care Plan written by their doctor are eligible for 10 rebatable sessions with Medicare each calendar year. Under our current fee structure and the current Medicare rebate clients will still be out of pocket approximately $100 per session.

If you wish to make a claim through your private health insurance we suggest you check with your insurer if you are entitled to cover for Psychological counseling before you attend. We have a Hicaps machine that has the ability to process claims with most private health insurers at the time of payment.
You are only entitled to claim a rebate on any 1 consultation with either Medicare or your private insurer (subject to your eligibility) not both.
