Adam Wright

Adam is a registered Clinical Psychologist and a full member of the Australian Psychological Society. He has 10 years experience working in a range of psychology fields. He completed a Masters of Clinical Psychology in 2012 and has experience working in private, community and hospital settings. Adam works with adults, adolescents and children, using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-based therapy. Adam likes to use a solutions and a strengths focus to help people and move towards meaningful goals and positive life changes.

Adam has experience working with the following:

All Anxiety disorders, including social anxiety, generalised anxiety/worry and phobias

Depression

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder 

Panic Disorder/Agoraphobia

Bipolar Disorder

Adolescent Transitions, e.g., secondary school and university

Emotion Regulation

Anger Management

Relationships

Learning and Behavioural difficulties, including ADD/ADHD

Family/children impacted by severe illness 

Adam also conducts behavioural and educational assessments to help people identify their strengths to maximise their potential and foster resilience in school or the workplace. Contact the Resilience centre for more details.

 

Cost - $227 (individuals) or $245 (families) per 55 minute session.
