DBT for Teens
$1,100.00
An 8 week program for young people aged 14 – 18 years who are experiencing difficulties managing their emotions and behaviour.
This 8 week program is designed for teens, 14 – 18 years old who experience significant problems managing their emotions, thoughts and behaviours. The aim is to give you a taste of the group experience and an opportunity to learn and practice useful life skills for handling emotionally charged difficulties.
Teens participating in this program will get a taste of all Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills:
You will have the opportunity to learn strategies for improving emotional regulation, impulsivity and relationships.
Each 2 hour session will consist of skills teaching and real accountability to practice between sessions.
Ideally this program is best suited to those with a parent/caregiver attending the DBT Family and Friends Support Group which will be running in conjunction with this program.
