Emma is a warm and committed psychologist with experience working with people across various stages in life. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings, including private practice, private hospital and community organisations. She provides a range of evidence-based therapies, informed by cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and solution-focused therapy.
Emma has helped clients presenting with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, personality concerns, grief and loss, interpersonal conflict, trauma, eating and body image concerns and low self-esteem. She is an empathic psychologist who applies a client-centred approach. She delights in getting to know every unique individual that she sees and approaches her sessions with gentleness, curiosity and care.
Emma is currently completing specialist training through a Master of Clinical Psychology program and is joining us here at The Resilience Centre as part of this program. During our time with us, Emma will be working with children and adolescents. She will be commencing on the 28th July and will be at The Centre on Wednesdays and Fridays.
