Appointments

It is not necessary to have a doctor’s referral to The Resilience Centre.

Appointments can be made over the phone and all calls are treated with the strictest confidence.

The cost for a 55 min session session varies depending on which psychologist or social worker you see, and whether the appointment is for an individual, couple or family. More details are provided below.

Private health insurance rebates apply for clients with the appropriate cover. Our office has HICAPS facilities so if you bring your health fund card we can organize your rebate at the time of your appointment. If you would like to know the amount of your rebate, prior to your first session, you will need to contact your health fund.

Medicare rebates apply if you have a special referral from a GP or psychiatrist known as a Mental Health Care Plan – for more information about Medicare rebates, please click here.

Fees

Fee increase effective 1 September, 2023.
If seeing a general psychologist, the fee for individual appointments are $220 weekdays ($230 on Saturdays). For a couple or family the fees are $240 weekdays ($250 on Saturdays) 

For a clinical social worker the fees are $230 weekdays. For a couple or family the fees are $240 weekdays ($250 on Saturdays) 

For the family clinic the fees are $230 -$270 weekdays

If seeing a clinical psychologist, the fee for individual appointments are $265 weekdays ($275 on Saturdays). For a couple or family the fees are
$285 weekdays ($295 on Saturdays)

Medicare rebates differ for general and clinical psychology.

Please peruse through our list of practitioners to confirm the cost of your appointment. This will also be confirmed for you, when you call to make an appointment.

There is a late cancellation / non attendance fee of $100 on weekdays ($120 on Saturdays).
