This skills group is designed for individuals over the age of 18 who have difficulties controlling emotions. This may also include struggles to sustain relationships, a tendency for impulsivity, self harm, suicidal behaviour, substance use or other problems that come from emotional instability.
The Emotion Regulaton program develops an understanding of emotions that will assist you to:
Each 2 hour session will consist of skils teaching and real accountability to practice between sessions.
Day and Time: Tuesdays, 6.30 - 8.45 pm (2 hours plus a 15 minute break)
There is also the possibility of a Thursday morning group if there is sufficient expressions of interest.
Dates: February 20, 27, March 6, 13, 20, 27, April 3 & 10
Cost: $120 per 2 hour group session. The total cost of $960 is to be paid up front and is non-refundable. A Medicare rebate is possible with a GP or psychiatrist referral. Enquire for more information.
