The group is based around the Resilience Doughnut model and will teach young people how to find their strengths, apply optimistic thinking patterns for problem solving, develop positive and resilient connections with others, and negotiate changes in life when strengths are challenged. It is particularly helpful for young people who are experiencing social difficulties.
The program runs for 5 weeks with a follow up session 6 weeks later and also provides you and your adolescent with complimentary access to the Resilience Report, an online measure of your adolescent's resilience. To read more about the Resilience Doughnut go to www.theresiliencedoughnut.com.au .
